Understand the intricacies of what happens when you get on the sugar rollercoaster, how your body is breaking down the food you eat and why you energy drops through the day. Really get an insight into your sugar consumption and most importantly get the details for week one of the plan!

This week you will be introduced to new groups of food (yay), understand the cholesterol confusion and get to grips with all the information you need to try intermittent fasting.

Finally be in a position to understand food labels! We demystify the often long and difficult to read names on packaged foods, discuss the benefits of organic foods and delve into commercial meat farming.

We look into dairy and if it’s really good for us, take a deep dive into your immune function and consider the role of inflammation in the body.

We explore how truly amazing the human body is, look at the systems of the body, specifically the Nervous System and how looking after it can support weight loss.

By this week you are a Body expert and are ready to take on the more complex subject of your liver and what happens when its overloaded, we look at the lymphatic system and how to truly ‘detox’ the body.

What allows us to live a long time? This week we learn about the cornerstones of longevity, where are the blue zones across the world and what are their characteristics.

Finally we reflect on the journey you have been on, explore how to move forward when you are ‘off plan’, deconstruct macronutrients and give you the tools to continue to nurture your body.

This detox runs entirely online, so you can take part from anywhere in the world. There will be weekly seminars and together in our group you will learn about the importance of real whole foods in your diet. The seminars are informative and fun - get ready to challenge traditional thinking as I debunk dietary myths over the 8 week course.

Sugar is the most addictive substance on the planet - when I first started cutting it out I couldn’t believe the profound difference it made to my life: from my waist line to my energy levels. When I moved back to London it felt like everyone I met wanted me to help them shed a few pounds. That’s when I decided to put together a group detox, a way to teach people WHY they should cut out fake processed foods and how to get the most from real foods. As soon as I tell people I run a sugar detox the most common response is ‘Oh, I don’t eat sugar’. Whilst this might be the case for some of you, most of us don’t actually even know where we are consuming unsuspecting sugars!

The plan runs for 6 weeks. Now, I’d love you all to permanently quit sugar but 6 weeks is a great starting point and I guarantee you won’t want to go back to how you ate before! I run the seminars once a week and I set up how you can change your eating patterns, come off addictive processed foods and feel the best you have ever felt in your life. The detox I have designed is an elimination diet - I have designed it in such a way so that you can better understand your body. Perhaps you have intolerances or gut sensitivities you didn’t even know about! As we slowly reintroduce foods naturally higher in sugar, you will be able to tune in with your body and for some of you this experience alone will be life changing.

That really depends on how your gut processes food groups.
Withdrawal is real though and as your health coach I will make sure you are aware of what might lie in store for you and also support you when side effects surface (headaches, lack of energy etc).
